Based in the Pacific Northwest, and practicing nationally, we are a full service architecture studio, with a process that is grounded in craft, not as an aesthetic, but as a way of working, thinking, and relating. We believe architecture is most meaningful when it is made with care, shaped by context, and rooted in the human connection.
The Studio
Christian Korta, AIA
Christian’s architectural practice spans over a decade of work that has taken him across the country — from his roots in the Pacific Northwest, to the central Southwest, where he honed his professional skills. With an authentic care for people, and a love for all things beautiful, Christian brings a joy to the process of design and a belief that the process of design should be fun and engaging. Christian is a licensed architect in Texas and Washington State, and a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis. On the weekends, he loves to travel with his family, visiting new places, hiking, rock climbing, biking, and adventuring!
Zach Wise, AIA
Zach brings a deeply personal approach to architecture, shaped by years of hands-on craft, travel, and a lifelong curiosity about how spaces shape the way we live. His work is grounded in the belief that great design begins with listening—to the land, to the client, and to the stories each place wants to tell. Zach approaches his work with care and intention, creating a calm and reassuring design experience. Zach is a licensed architect in Oregon and Montana and a graduate of Texas A&M University. On weekends, he and his wife explore their favorite corners of the Pacific Northwest with their dog, Berkeley, or settle in at home for a good board game. In his free time, Zach enjoys sketching, painting, and woodworking.

Christian’s wife, Shannon Korta, is a celebrated architectural photographer, published in the New York Times, Oscar Riera Ojeda, and Texas Architect.
