Material palette, massing, and orientation are carefully designed and selected to blend with the aesthetic of the region, celebrate the ecology of the site, and provide a warm environment for its family and their vision to regularly open their home to guests.

Folding glass doors on both the north and south faces of the living room allow for a seamless connection between the interior and exterior, while abundantly provided covered outdoor areas provide for spaces to relax in the mild and rainy Pacific Northwest environment.

The interior spaces are laid out in defined segments, each with their own character: a space for hosting, gathering, and the human connection; a space for retreat, relaxation, and solitude; and a space for creativity and creation. All spaces of which are deeply connected with nature and light.
